CrossCurrents is a non-profit corporation in Kansas City, Missouri which is dedicated to people creating their own culture.

Our mission is to promote socially conscious
folk culture in order to:

Encourage people to create their own culture

Showcase artists and events that would otherwise
not have a venue

Educate the community regarding folk music and social concerns

CrossCurrents carries out its mission through councils which focus on our areas of interest. CrossCurrents is a Missouri not-for-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) status. Our mailing address is CrossCurrents Culture Unlimited, Inc. PO Box 10104, Kansas City, MO. 64171.

We produce concerts, plays, and community events, and encourage all interested people, that's YOU, to get involved.....no matter what level of talent you think you have. If you are looking for locally produced Folk Music, Contra Dance, Songwriting and Song Circles, Women's Music, Theater, Labor Arts or just playing some banjo, you've come to the right place.
