After double left clicking on the 'My Computer' icon on the Windows desk top you are able to access this window, which is called the My Computer window. From here you can access the different drives in your computer, the control panel, any printers that are attached to your computer and Dial-up Networking. All of which will be covered in separate sections of this site. In this section we are only concerned with the Hard Disk Drive, more commonly referred to as the C drive. All IBM compatible PCs will usually have a single hard drive where the operating system is installed and it is almost always the C drive. To access the C Drive double left click on the (C:)icon.
