This is the basic Windows start menu that is accessible by clicking once on the start button with the left mouse button. You can access any applications that are installed on your computer and listed in the programs menu, perform file searches, access special functions and shut down your computer.
The find menu enables you to search your drives for a single file or a group of files ending in the same suffix, such as .dll or .txt.
From the settings menu you can access the control panel, printers and task bar options.
The documents menu list the most recently opened documents which can be used as a short cut to re-open them.
From the run command line you can install software, access drives, and open files or directories installed on your computer. It is also a good place to start from when you want you browse a CD, a floppy disk or your C drive.
The shutdown menu is where you go when you need to shutdown or want to reboot (restart) your computer. Always remember to shutdown your computer using the shutdown menu.
